Turkey Increases Tariffs on US Imports Including Vehicles, Alcohol, Tobacco

According to the country's Official Gazette, the decree signed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, raised the levy on passenger cars by 120 percent, on alcoholic drinks by 140 percent and on leaf tobacco by 60 percent. Tariffs were also increased on goods including cosmetics, rice and coal.
